Sibel Clifford, MBA, CAE
Association Executive Director
Sibel serves as an account executive, executive director of the ABWM Foundation, and Deputy Executive Director of the International Claim Association. She oversees day-to-day operations and program management, ensuring strategic implementation of policies and board practices, and has supported clients including the Energy Storage Association, Gridwise Alliance, and Academy of Life Underwriting.
Before her current role, Sibel was communications manager at the World Federation of Exchanges in Paris and Deputy Secretary General at the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges in Istanbul, Türkiye. She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives and a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
Born and raised in Istanbul, Türkiye, Sibel is fluent in Turkish, English, and French. She enjoys hiking, cooking international cuisine, and relaxing at the beach with her husband and their dog, Ziggy.
