Merlin Brittenham, JD
Vice President, Legal & Compliance
Merlin oversees all legal and compliance functions within the Pharmaceutical Product Stewardship Work Group (PPSWG), including advising on regulatory issues; assisting with policy development and advocacy; assessing and mitigating legal risks; conducting appropriate training and education; and reviewing and negotiating contracts.
Before Etherio, he worked at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) in a variety of compliance and legal functions, most recently on PhRMA’s state legal affairs. Merlin received his BA in Public Policy with honors from Stanford University, his master’s in Public Health from Columbia University, and his JD from Columbia University. He is a member of the DC Bar and volunteers for food prep at DC Central Kitchen.
Merlin took up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 38 and just recently earned his blue belt.
