Julie Anderson, CAE

Association Director

Julie serves as the executive director of the Oracle Applications and Technology Users Group (OATUG), managing the day-to-day operations of the association. This includes governance, strategic planning, budgeting, and the development and execution of forward-thinking business plans. Julie strives to provide OATUG and its members with the benefits of strong leadership and effective project management.

Prior to joining Etherio, Julie gained over 20 years of association management experience, serving as an executive director for a 501 c(3) International Medical Foundation. She has been recognized as a subject matter expert on association governance and volunteer management. Julie attended Georgia Southern University where she received her B.S. in Parks, Recreation & Leisure Studies. She earned her M.B.A. from the University of Georgia. Julie also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate and an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate. She is involved in the American Society of Association Executives, the Daughters of American Revolution Atlanta Chapter, and the Georgia Society of Association Executives Foundation, where she has served on the board of directors in several capacities.

While vacationing in Alaska, Julie and her friends accidentally participated in Homer’s 4th of July Parade because the trolley they hired to take them to dinner had to drive through the parade along the way!
