At Etherio, Jel supports our Association Clients with membership and program management.
Before Etherio, Jel served as Membership & Database Manager at the Society for Corporate Governance (SCG), where she led process automation initiatives and streamlined workflows to ensure data accuracy and efficiency within the membership department. Jel began her association management career as a student worker at the Academy of Management (AOM) where she spent 19 years progressing through roles in membership, conference registration, and ultimately closed out her tenure as Assistant Director of Meetings and Conferences. In that role she oversaw the organization’s 2000-session annual conference and collaborated with local volunteers to develop programs for AOM’s newly established global conferences in England, Israel, and Slovenia.
Jel moved to New York from the tropical paradise island of St. Maarten, swapping sun and sand for seasons and skyscrapers. While English is her first language, she does have a conversational proficiency of the Dutch language.
