Kristen Hopper

At Etherio, Kristen is the Senior Account Director for the BCoD Association and is responsible for overall administration and operation of the organization. This role advises and assists the BCoD in formulating and implementing strategies, objectives and policies to advance the organization’s mission.

Kristen has developed and managed sponsorship programs for many organizations – connecting industry with their target audiences and creating win-win opportunities. Working on the largest conferences in the eyecare industry, she collaborated with multiple audiences to develop a program to engage the next generation of professionals – resulting in increased attendance and participation. She received her Bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in marketing from Missouri State University and Associate’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.

Her accomplishments continue with Vision Monday’s Most Influential Women in Optical in 2018 and Optical Women’s Association’s (OWA) Leadership Scholarship Award in 2020. Kristen serves on committees for the OWA and is the Professional Development Chair for The Vision Council’s Emerging Optical Leaders Committee. She has held leadership positions for various Alpha Chi Omega Alumni Associations, the Jaycees, and the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition.
