Marcie Maddox

As an event manager, Marcie supports our clients by managing corporate conferences, conventions, and incentive groups of all sizes. Depending on the event, Marcie acts as the project lead or supports a team by owning an area of conference logistics.

Before joining Etherio, Marcie worked in event planning for Sea Island, a Forbes five-star resort, planning events for Sea Island Club members and managing the corporate donations program. She also served as a general manager at Marriott. Marcie received her B.S. in Education from the University of Georgia. She serves on the University of Georgia Libraries Board of Visitors and volunteers with MorningStar Children and Family Services supporting fundraising events and campaigns.

Marcie’s friend, who is a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller, used both Marcie’s and Marcie’s husband’s names as the main character in one of her books.
