Sarah Martens, CMP

Sarah is a senior association manager serving as the executive director of the Colorado Society for Human Resource Management (COSHRM) State Council. She also supports the success of several other association clients as an account executive.

Sarah is a relationship-builder and program manager with over 20 years of experience executing events, managing volunteers, and communicating across multiple platforms. Prior to joining Etherio, Sarah worked at three different public universities in alumni relations and development roles. Most recently, she served as the associate director of alumni engagement for the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her B.A. in Anthropology. She also studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Sarah is a member of the Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She also volunteers as an event coordinator at her children’s school.

From 2010 to 2011, Sarah and her husband took a year-long sabbatical to travel around the world. They visited over 20 countries across four continents (North America, South America, Africa and Asia).
