Glenn McDonell
Association Associate
Glenn McDonell is an association associate and supports: the GridWise Alliance, the Lone Star Energy Storage Alliance, and the Sorptive Minerals Institute. He manages client programming and operations, leads member thought leadership initiatives, and supports advocacy efforts on behalf of clients.
Before joining Etherio, Glenn worked as a California State Assembly staffer, engaging constituents in the legislative process and collaborating with local leaders to deliver state resources during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego, where he was a Leo T. McCarthy Fellow and participated in the Semester at Sea program studying global environmental governance.
Outside of work, Glenn enjoys cycling, running DC’s trails, playing in community leagues, and exploring dog-friendly spots around the DMV with his partner, Johanna, and their rescue dog, Archie.
