Stacey Royston

Association Digital Experience Director

Stacey brings more than 25 years of experience creating and managing both in-person and digital experiences for professional communities. She supports AAPS’s digital learning and scientific content initiatives, managing the association’s online scientific library, developing new learning opportunities for the pharmaceutical science community, and providing professional development resources for AAPS members. Her work combines a deep understanding of meetings and events with a focus on creating accessible, engaging experiences for members.

Before joining Etherio, Stacey managed the digital meetings portfolio for a large pharmaceutical association and built a career spanning more than two decades in global meeting planning. She holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Meetings Manager (CMM), and Digital Event Strategist (DES) designations, reflecting her expertise across both live and digital events.

Stacey earned a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and Japanese from Haverford College. She is an active member of the Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She also serves her community as President of the Instrumental Music Department Boosters at Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland.

A lifelong learner with a somewhat unexpected academic path, Stacey jokes that despite spending more than 25 years in meetings and events, she majored in Japanese. She has also completed four marathons, though these days she says she only runs when chased.
