Thao Truong, CHIA

As our Senior Event Coordinator, Thao will manage various aspects of event registration using multiple systems, including inventory, badge printing, reporting, and payment processing. She will coordinate logistics vendor communications, speaker management, and client timelines while ensuring data accuracy and compliance. You can also find Thao supporting cross-functional teams, delivering seamless registration, and even support for diverse clients.

Previously, Thao was an intern for a brokerage company, where she prepped for the conference with the team and did various tasks. On conference days, she led registration and wore many hats, stepping in when needed to make sure all operations ran smoothly. She has her BBA in Hospitality Management from Georgia State University. Thao is a member of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE), the American Hotel & Loding Association (AHLA), NEWH, the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), and of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

Outside of Etherio, Thao loves pilates, animals (especially dogs), fashion, reading, traveling, and talking. Ask her to do a split!
